- Today's walk took us down to the end of the mouth of the Verdun Gorge, with continued excellent views and an amazing display of flying from a couple of eagles along the the way. Midday we walked off the trail to a small chapel perched on a hillside (we are talking middle of nowhere here), small but beautiful as always. Had lunch at an old potter's village (no longer any pottery being made), then walked across a long plain containing what might have been Roman burial mounds, then down steeply to Pt. Sublime.
